Jane qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2004 whilst working for City Law Firm Mishcon de Reya in their Litigation Department. She left in 2009 and moved inhouse to become Head of Legal and create a legal team within an alternative Lender in the UK and deal with Consumer Credit issues and Legal Debt Recovery. In 2014 Jane and her business partner Neil Pool incorporated ALPH L&C Limited to work with Lenders and assist with Compliance issues in the UK. Jane also became a Consultant of DWS Legal for Litigation/Legal Debt Recovery work.
In 2019 Jane further qualified as a Litigator and Advocate in Civil Proceedings giving her rights to Conduct Litigation and exercise Rights of Audience in the Civil Courts. Jane has now set up her own Regulated Law Firm Essex Law Limited.
Connor qualified as a paralegal whilst working for Essex Law Limited in 2024. After his professional career change into the legal industry, he remains focused and deals with Legal Debt Recovery & Civil Litigation. Supporting Jane in handling more complex cases and preparing for trials, Connor is often the person clients interact with daily. In 2024 and onwards he will continue his legal journey in line with regulatory requirements regarding Ethics Conduct and Professionalism with a new apprenticeship working towards his goal to become a CILEx Lawyer.
